I have been running in mizunos for years. This model is by far my favorite. It has comfort and stabilated to keep me running neutral without over-pronating.When I first tried these on, I really liked them. They seemed to have good stability and a decent bounce. However, once I wore them for a run, I found my heels and ankles hurting. They just didn't have the same support that the wave horizon 2 had. I am going to stick with my new balance 1080s instead of these.I've had this style since 2019, they wear well and last! I use them for outdoor circuit/crossfit/OCR training and they've been great. Had to get another pair.I have never before had a pair of running shoes that felt so good on my feet that I wanted to wear them when I'm not exercising, style be darned. These are those shoes.I have had several pairs of Mizuno Wave Inspires, but the most recent pair seemed to come up just a tiny bit higher on the inside of my foot and rubbed my ankle uncomfortably. These have a lower inside edge by a very small margin, and also more cushioning. I will stick with the Mizuno Wave Horizon moving forward.I am normally a pretty consistent size when it comes to athletic shoes but these were a bit snug. I would recommend sizing up a half size. Very nice shoe otherwise!!I wear an 8.5 in ASICS. I went with the official Mizuno size guide and purchased a 9. That is a perfect fit.I pronate and these are fabulous even without an insole. Lightweight, if you are heavy, keep an eye on compression of the foam and replace as usual based on your mileage.My husband also wears this style with flat feet and they are the best brand he has found. He wears a men’s 14 in all brands.Fit is excellent! Good motion control shoe, so if you probate this is a good shoe for you. Not heavy, so good for longer distances, also. Highly recommend! I am a women’s 10 and take an 11 in running shoes.I ordered the size up as I’m an 8.5 or 9 and it was too small. Comfy though. Needed shoes and went to famous footwearThe shoes are true to size. I have over pronation and have been experiencing feet pain for the last 3 years because I stay on my feet 8 hours everyday. Since I got these shoes, no pain at all. Love them since and already got a second pair!!!
