The shoe looks better in person than in the photo, not jet black but still black. The insole is very soft and comfortable, leather is soft to touch, no break in period needed. Shoe looks well made and is true to size. If I had the cash now I would certainly buy more colors, really love this shoes. They don't make any sound when you walk thanks to the damped rubber soles. It's the most comfortable shoe I've had in a long while and my feet doesn't hurt after a full days at work which is usually 8-11 hours on and off my feet.If you're thinking of buying don't hesitate you won't regret it trust meI've been enjoying these boots since receiving them a month ago. You can wear them with chinos or jeans and they are very comfortable. They are lightweight and made of good leather.
