These seem to be sturdier than my old wooden ones. Too bad they don't have any holes for the pressure relief pad inserts on the top of the shoe. The only holes are on the sides. They are just big enough for my mens size 11 1/2. If I wore a size 12 they may not be big enough.The shoe stretcher worked as advertised. I needed the width increased more than length. Go easy and don’t crank to much at first. You can overstretch the shoe.
