I have had these for several months. They were a replacement for a pair of TargeeII 13M I got in 2016. Absolutely loved them and they performed! This pair, out of the box seemed very good, but as I wore them my foot pushes forward into the toe cap to a level of minor/ mod pain. I found if I tie them tight, my foot stays back, but it feels like a stranglehold.I have had maybe 5 pairs of various Keens. Most have been great. This pair not so much. It feels like the padding is thicker, so the only way to break them in is to tie them extra tight and break them in. So I thought they had gotten better, and wore the very extensively hiking some pretty heavy terrain. Soles held up excellent, everything great except, still this issue of too tight. So my next pair will be a 14M I guess. *as a side note, all the other pairs I have had were perfect out of the boxWhether you are using them for hiking or every day use these are great shows. I’ve got a wide foot with a high instep and these fit great. I wear a 10 1/2 wide and not only are these wide enough but so is the toe box. That doesn’t seem like a big deal to some but it is to me. Sometimes I have to go to a size 11 for my toes to fit. This is my 2nd and I love them. A shout out to Outland USA for a great shoe at a great price.I bought these used-good condition through Amazon warehouse. I was not expecting new condition, but they don't appear to have been worn at all. I have always had a hard time getting the arch support just right for my feet. These shoes feel like they were made for my feet!!! The footbed it so comfortable! I switched the standard laces for bungee laces, just for better ease and taking them off and on. I am so pleased with these shoes!!!Got these for my husband. He's very hard on shoes & they usually last only 6-8 months. This is the only brand of shoe that is comfortable, able to take out the arch padding (because he's got custom arch supports), & last over a year. Dick's has been a hit or miss with these & are more expensive. So I looked here on Amazon & they have what he was looking for, in his size, & a cheaper price! Win, win all aroundThese shoes are great but if you want them to stay nice and tight all the time you will probably want to buy some better laces. These laces are good but slip some when working on them. I saw some comments say that waterproofing of the shoes didn’t work to well but I can say that I work in wet grass for most of my day and my feet stay nice and dry all day!Well made and helps me to walk on gravelI've been a Keen fan since buying a pair of Targhee IIIs a few years ago. Bought 2 pairs of Targhee IIs as less "technical", more casual backups & love them.Been wearing on shorter hikes. So far no problems. They have the feel of a broken in shoe. Big hike coming up, feel confident they'll hold up. Great shoe.I still have my old keens they are over 10 years old and they still fit comfortably not sure if these would last the same amount of time but what an amazing pair of shoes the fit is fantastic they are comfy to walk on long distances and they look great on amazing grip and easy to lace up. Love keens footwear it is one of the better manufacturers out thereStumbled on these years ago now I always buy Keen as they fit me better than any other manufacture without having to get a special fit as I have a broad fitting and very comfortableThey are always hard wearing, normally I by 2 pair at a time every 2 years and wear on rotation. The uppers and soles last as long as each other normally I find one would give out before the other on other manufacturersI find these very comfortable, I have wide feet and these are perfect. The soles aren't as grippy as I would like, have to walk carefully over wet stones etc. Good toe guard tooHaving worn out my previous pair of Keens in two years - walking the dog at least 6 or 7 kms a day, I though these looked very similar. I have wide feet so bought half a size up (a UK nine) and these fit perfectly, look great and are very well made.Looking forward to at least another two years walking my Canine companion.I got these because reviews online said keen shoes had a wide toe box. I have quite wide feet and previous shoes had been too tight at the toes. These are a good fit for me and very light and comfy. They are solid shoes that look like they will cope well with wet and rugged terrain.
