I wear size 13 shoes and most of them don't fit length wise so the doors can't be used and if I wore high tops, forget it. But overall they do what I need them to do. Great for the price.I just ordered my 3rd batch of these. Not only are they great for shoes, I've stashed winter scarves in one. Bathing suits and cover ups I use the most, in another.They look SOOOOOO much better than a bunch of shoe boxes. I can also SEE my shoes, so those shoes that I've never worn (I have WAY too many of those) because I forgot they were there will now get worn.The price went up significantly since the first time I purchased, so I'll be patiently waiting for a price drop to get more (I really needed the last order, so I've paid the higher price).These are a sturdy plastic. They are ready to assemble. Make sure you pay attention to which side is which in the end, or you will have issues. Make sure you put the back end of the box on first. If you have to pull it back off, you'll really have a problem if you put it on right. Also, make sure the red dots are on the top, and the feet are on the bottom.I have stacked 6 high without any problem. 3 or 4 high is super sturdy. Obviously, I'll be buying more!Quality is pretty good and product seems really durable. I tried stacking multiple layers up to around 10 and it holds up - not that I'm planning to store shoes like that but I was curious.I'm giving it 4 stars because of assembly. There were no instructions included. I'm pretty handy myself but the design is not fool proof. Kinda hard to explain using words but a single unit comes in 5 pieces. There's the front panel with door and back panel with the ventilation window. You can easily make a mistake and assemble the panels incorrectly and basically mess up the stacking function. There's a visual cue to help you (red dot stickers on panels to help you match which side up) but not all pieces have them. Overall I'm still happy.Images on the assembly instructions were very faint which made putting first box together tedious and basically self-taught. After completing first box it was easy to put boxes together. The drop open door is nice feature. Quality is good and sturdy for stacking boxes. Boxes are roomy for ladies shoes, booties and sneakers (Sz 9)It is a great product for its price if you need something to display your shoes. All of mine still work and look fantasticWhile the assembly seems overwhelming, the end result is worth it. I was worried about the sturdiness when I had them out in the open, but in the closet they do just fine, I also have a stack in the garage, I ordered 2 packs.Easy to assemble but need morePerfect hall closet organization! We have been looking for a way to keep our shoes organized and this is the perfect solution! Very happy with the quality and ease of assembly.
