Whew. I'm loving these shoes! I bought the black nubuck, size 12B.First of all, let me say I have a hard shoe size to find. Women's 12, and I run a little on the average to narrow side of things. Not easy for me to find shoes (men's shoes are usually too wide.) I'm also a supinator (walk on the outside edges of my feet) so I needed a supportive every day type shoe to wear when I wasn't in sneakers. Something slightly dressy but work appropriate. These are great. They may run a touch on the average to narrow width, but that was good for me. They also have some "give," so I think they'd stretch a bit. I think they'd be good for folks with an average width foot. If your feet are wide, you might go up from a B width.These shoes were long enough and they're pretty cute. Another thing I liked is the adjustable strap, so a person can change the width of their shoe to accommodate any swelling. I also have to wear orthotic pads on my insole and these accommodated those pads with no issues.They look really cute with leggings and slacks, even jeans. I'm not sure if I'd wear them with dresses, I think that would be subjective to the owner.I'd certainly buy another pair.Ever since I broke my foot 4 months ago, I swore I would give up cheap shoes. These Drews arrived today and I had a hard time making up my mind, but they just feel so good on my feet. They look kind of clunky, but I have ginormous feet so I need to just get over it. Other reviewers mentioned that the sides hit right under the ankle bone and rubbed. And that might be a problem, so that is why 4 stars. But they are so supportive and my feet feel like they are protected. The narrow width is perfect for me; the heels don't slip off and they're not too tight in the toes. I will definitely try other Drew shoes.I wear a 9 1/2 Narrow, and it is impossible to find my size in a store, so I have to order all my shoes. I never know how they'll fit, and have had to return many pairs, but not this one! Drew makes the best quality shoes that fits perfectly. The heel is even narrow enough so my heel doesn't slip! This is a sturdy shoe, but really cute. There is plenty of room for my toes to spread comfortably, which is important to me after having had foot surgery a few months ago. I have high arches, and they are well supported in this shoe. There was no break in time with this shoe, The sole is non slip, so it is safe, too. I got such a great deal, and went back to buy more colors, but every other color is $100 more than I paid, so I'll have to wait. That is sad, because I'd buy this same shoe in five more colors if it was more affordable. It is just the perfect shoe.I got these because I needed something dressier to work with my large orthotics and high arches. The fit is good except they pinch my little toes a bit. But I have very sensitive toes. I was advised somewhere that this style of straps would work well with my high arches, and that has proved to be absolutely true. I love the way they adjust so easily for a perfect fit. As with all the shoes I am able to wear any more, the clunkiness took some getting used to. But let's not ask for miracles!Like many others, I have a problem foot. I wear orthotics, and have tried them with lots of other brands of shoes. I come home from work now with no pain, which I never thought was possible. I'm short, heavy, and have flat feet. I have a big callus on the inside of my foot from my big flat foot rubbing between the orthotic and shoe. These shoes have a tiny bit wider heel, and for me that makes all the difference in the world. Two inserts come with the shoe, so you can customize how deep you need it. I removed one insert and left one, that worked for me. I have no problems with heel slippage with these shoes, they stay on. The straps do not cut into my foot, either. These are my go-to shoes!Usually purchasing shoes online or via a catalog is a crap shoot for me. I wore these this past weekend and had no problems walking, which I usually have. I found this to be a very comfortable shoe. It provided ample room for my toes. I may purchase another pair in a different color.Took the advice of other reviews and got a half size larger than normal.they fit fine with my orthodics. My only complaint was the strap just about hit the beginning of the velcro offered. Why not make the strap to fit all the velcro. My feet are not swollen, I think I am normal. lolThese shoes are great for people like me who tend turn their ankles and walk on the outer edges of their feet due to arthritis. They are very stable and comfortable, easy to put on and take off and adjust with the straps. I have them in 2 colors (blue and black) and love them. Cute with jeans or you can dress up. More comfortable than most Mary Janes, plenty of room in the toes. I can wear these for long periods shopping and they work great. I took a chance on these online because of other positive reviews and I'm glad I did.These shoes were perfect for my aging mother. They gave her the support she needs and are very easy to put on.
